Documents Needed for Enrollment

  • Parent/Legal Guardian's Government Issued Photo Identification (current driver's license)

  • Student's Certified Birth Certificate (order a certified birth certificate at Texas.gov)

  • Student's Immunization [Shot] Records (must show the child's name)

  • Proof of Residency (within the last 30 days)

    • Current utility bill of services received, dated within the last 30 days that indicates the address in the parent/guardian's name, or

    • A lease or contract for the residential address in the parent/guardian's name is acceptable. However, contractual representation documents and similar documents used by Realtor's are not acceptable on their own. We must have documentation of a binding agreement to reside at a residence within a specified time frame. Additional documentation may be required to verify residency, or

    • A notarized signed/dated "Proof of Residency Affidavit" with whom the student resides, along with a utility bill of services received, dated within the last 30 days from the homeowner/lessee along with the homeowner/lessee's ID.

  • Previous School Records:

    • Final/Most Recent Report Card

    • Official Transcript

    • Withdrawal Form preferred (with current withdrawal grades included)

    • Other Education records (special programs, etc.)

  • Student's Social Security Card

  • Legal Documentation (custody agreement/personal protective order, etc. if applicable)

 

Documentation is to be uploaded during the New Student Online Enrollment process. It is necessary to make sure all documents needed for enrollment are readily available to upload to expedite the enrollment process.

Proof of Residency

Parents/guardians must submit Proof of Residency.
 
If you are unable to provide sufficient proof of residency because you are currently living with someone who is the actual LISD resident and there is no utility bill of services received in your name, the LISD resident will need to complete a "Proof of Residency Affidavit" stating that you and your child(ren) live in their home. The affidavit must be notarized, signed and dated and must include a utility bill of services received, dated within the last 30 days from the homeowner/lessee along with the homeowner/lessee's ID.

How to Enroll Your New Student

Your first step to enrollment for your new student starts in Skyward for New Student Online Enrollment. The enrollment process requires a valid email address.

 

  • Important: If you do not have an email account, you'll be required to create a new one before you may proceed with the New Student Online Enrollment process. Replying from Yahoo or AOL accounts are automatically blocked by LISD Filters.
 
  • Documentation is to be uploaded during the New Student Online Enrollment process. It is ncessary to make sure all documents needed for enrollment are readily available to upload to expedite the enrollment process.

 

Parents/guardians with existing children currently enrolled in the district that wish to enroll a new child, must log into their existing Skyward Family Access account. Click on "NEW to District Enrollment" to begin the New Student Online Enrollment process.

 

After completing New Student Online Enrollment and uploading documents, your next step is for you to visit your child's campus to complete the enrollment process. Remember to bring all required documents.

 

  • For Transfer students, transfer paperwork must be filled out and approved through your child's campus prior to you starting the New Student Online Enrollment process.

 

  • When enrolling a Pre-Kindergarten student, the first step is for the parent/guardian to complete the approval process at the elementary campus. Once approved for the Pre-Kindergarten program, the parent/guardian will be directed to the online site to complete the enrollment process.

 

IMPORTANT: Your child is not officially enrolled at Lampasas ISD until you have provided all required documents and have verified and signed paperwork with the Campus Registrar.

When enrolling a Pre-Kindergarten student, the first step is for the parent/guardian to complete the approval process at the elementary campus.

 

Once approved for the Pre-Kindergarten program, the parent/guardian will be directed to the online site to complete the enrollment process.

 

Documentation is to be uploaded during the New Student Online Enrollment process. It is necessary to make sure all documents needed for enrollment are readily available to upload to expedite the enrollment process.

 

Pre-Kindergarten is a program that a child must meet the eligibility requirements for prior to enrolling.

What does "25-26 Returning Student" mean?

25-26 Returning Student Enrollment is for students who were enrolled at Lampasas ISD at any point in time this school year (25-26), withdrew this year, and is re-enrolling with Lampasas ISD in the same school year.

How to Enroll Your 25-26 Returning Student

The first step for the parent/guardian is to visit their child's campus to complete the Returning Student Registration process with the Campus Registrar. Remember to bring all required documents.

 

If the parent/guardian did not previously complete Family Access Updates, you will be required to complete it while on campus, prior to your student being scheduled into classes.

 

IMPORTANT: Your child is not officially enrolled at Lampasas ISD until you have provided all required documents, completed Family Access Updates and have verified and signed paperwork with the Campus Registrar.

If you already have an existing Skyward Family Access account (i.e., you have another student who is currently enrolled in Lampasas ISD) and you are enrolling a brand new student, please log in to Family Access with your existing username and password and click on the option titled "NEW to District Enrollment". This allows you to start the New Student Online Enrollment process and will allow Skyward to connect your new student with your student already enrolled with Lampasas ISD.

If you have a student who is currently enrolled at Lampasas ISD and you already have an existing Skyward Family Access account and you are needing to enroll a brand new student, please log in to Family Access with your existing username and password and click on the tab titleled "NEW to District Enrollment".

If you are trying to enroll a new student with Lampasas ISD and do not have acces to a computer or a smart phone, please reach out to your campus. Computers are readily available at each campus for parents/guardians to complete New Student Online Enrollment.

 

IMPORTANT: If you use a phone/tablet to complete New Student Online Enrollment, you may or may not experience difficulties completing the online enrollment process. It is highly recommended to use a computer/laptop, if available.
