Mr. Waldrip

Hello! My name is Coach Sam Waldrip. I am looking forward to an exciting school year and working with all of the students of Lampasas High School. After 20+ years of coaching, I have decided to step away from coaching and focus on the students of Lampasas High School in another capacity. 

I have been happily married to my wife Renee for 23 years. We are the proud parents of Hayden (2021 Graduate of Lampasas High School and Sophomore at Hardin Simmons University), Landry (6th grade), and Mason (4th Grade). We are an active sports and outdoors family. Whenever I am not in the classroom, I am probably watching one or more of my son's playing football, basketball, or baseball. 

This is my first year working with Special Education students. I have previously taught Social Studies in many capactities - World Geography, World History, US History, Government, and Economics. 

It is my goal each and every year to ensure that each student is prepared to meet his/her academic challenges for the new school year.  It is vital to any student’s success that the teacher, parents, and student work together.
