Welcome to English II and Pre-AP English II!

I am looking forward to a great year! My expectation is that each student comes to class prepared to learn and contribute. With each student's help, I plan to create an open environment for learning. My goal with teaching is to provide students with concepts and skills that they can apply to real-world situations.

Be sure to check this site frequently, especially if you are absent (it is your responsibility to obtain your absent work), in order to be up-to-date on all class activities and assignments. Lesson plans can be found on this site on the English II or Pre-AP English II webpages or on Canvas.

    Tutorials:

I will be available for tutorials Monday through Thursday after school from 3:20-3:50.

Students can attend the tutorials of any teacher before or after school. Just make sure to plan ahead (communicate with me in advance, even if you are not attending my tutorial times). Additionally, 4th period will be used as an academic period so that students can be tutored, work on homework, or complete missing/failing assignments.
