Mrs. Kelly Clarkston
Want to know a little about me?
I am the daughter of a United States Marine, so I have lived in many places. I was born in North Carolina, but have lived in Florida, Hawaii, Arkansas, and Texas. Growing up I was a competitive gymnast and I got pretty serious about it. My parents moved us to Texas when I was in the 7th grade, so I could compete for the greatest gymnastics coaches in the world, Martha and Bela Karolyi. After graduating from high school in Houston, I attended the University of Arkansas. WOOOOO PIG SOOIE! GO RAZORBACKS!!! I am a die hard fan of my beloved Razorbacks and the Houston Texans. I received my Bachelor of Science in Human Environmental Science at the U of A in 2000, and moved back home to the Houston area where I later began my teaching career. I taught in LaMarque and Pasadena before moving my family to Lampasas in 2011. I LOVE being a part of this amazing community!
Every child deserves a champion – an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection and insists that they become the best that they can possibly be.
